Know your next class
before the bell does.

PingPro reads your real school timetable — two-week rotation, snack and lunch breaks included — so you always know what's now and what's next, with a nudge five minutes before the bell. Free on your Mac's menu bar and free on your iPhone with a Home Screen widget.

What it does

Built around the actual school day.

Not a generic calendar app — PingPro understands periods, breaks, and the two-week timetable rotation your school already runs on.

Notified before the bell

A quiet alert five minutes before every period ends — class or break — telling you exactly what's coming next.

Handles Week 1 / Week 2

Set it once and PingPro tracks the rotation itself — no relabeling your schedule every other Monday. Scan both weeks together, or add Week 1 and Week 2 one file at a time.

Scan it, or import a CSV

Scan a screenshot or PDF of your school's timetable — or import it as a spreadsheet. Periods, teachers, rooms, both weeks. Export it back any time.

Or type it in by hand

No spreadsheet? A built-in editor lets you fill in your timetable row by row, right inside the app.

Always running

Launches at login and lives quietly in the menu bar — no dock icon, no window to leave open.

Setup

Three steps, then forget about it.

01

Get it on the Mac App Store

Download PingPro — installs and updates itself automatically, like any Mac App Store app.

02

Import your timetable

Click the menu bar icon → Scan Screenshot or PDF… and tell PingPro whether the file holds Week 1, Week 2 or both. Got two files? Add the second week afterwards. Prefer a spreadsheet? Use Import CSV… — a template is included.

03

Allow notifications

Say yes when macOS asks. From then on, PingPro tells you what's next — you don't have to open it again.

Questions

Before you install.

Is the Mac app really free?

Yes — every feature, no trial period, no locked "pro" tier. The tip option in the pricing section above is optional and doesn't unlock anything extra.

Is there an iOS app?

Yes — free on iPhone and iPad, with a Home Screen widget for Now/Next at a glance.

Does this work with my school's timetable, not just one specific school?

Yes — the built-in schedule is just a starting example. Scan your own from a screenshot or PDF, or import it via CSV (Week, Day, Period, Start, End, Subject, Teacher, Room), and PingPro runs entirely on your data.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Your timetable lives on your device and every notification is scheduled locally — nothing is sent anywhere.

What if macOS says it's from an "unidentified developer"?

Shouldn't happen via the Mac App Store — Apple handles installation and verification automatically.
